For ultimate discretion, our Ugo Catheter Valve can be used as a convenient alternative to using a leg bag. It’s compatible with both indwelling urethral and suprapubic catheters.
A catheter valve can also help to improve your bladder tone and capacity, as catheter valves encourage the natural filling and emptying of the bladder.
A catheter valve isn't suitable for all catheter users, speak with your doctor or nurse to check whether a catheter valve is suitable for you.

The Ugo Catheter Valve is used as an alternative to continuous drainage into a catheter leg bag. A catheter valve can be used with either a urethral or suprapubic catheter but is not suitable for all catheter users.
For more information about the Ugo Catheter Valve and to find out if it might be suitable for you, download our detailed user guide here. We advise speaking to a healthcare professional before using this product.
We would advise you speak with your doctor or nurse to see whether they think you are suitable for a catheter valve as there are certain things you will need to be able to do and remember to do in order to use a catheter valve safely. For example, it’s important you’re able to remember to drain your bladder at regular intervals throughout the day. To see more information about catheter valve suitability please refer to page 5 in our Ugo Catheter Valve user guide - available to download under the 'user guide' tab on this product page.
For guidance on how to use the Ugo Catheter Valve correctly, please download our user guide under the 'user guide' tab on this product page.
Your Ugo Catheter Valve should be changed every 7 days. Only change sooner if it is damaged or soiled.
An overnight drainage bag can be connected directly onto the tubing at the bottom of the Ugo Catheter Valve if you feel the need for additional drainage capacity overnight. Once the catheter valve tap is opened, urine will be able to flow straight into the overnight drainage bag.
Absolutely! By securing your catheter you can help to reduce the risk of discomfort and possible injury. We have a range of products to help fixate your catheter, including the Ugo Fix Gentle (catheter clip), Ugo Fix Catheter Strap and Multi Fix Gentle.

People love our catheter drainage and fixation products, and we love to hear what they have to say...
When I had my catheter fitted I started using Ugo Fix Sleeves to support my leg bag. I found the sleeve very supportive and secure - it’s made me feel far more comfortable wearing a catheter than just using leg bag straps.
The Ugo Fix Catheter Strap and Ugo Fix Sleeve are far superior to anything my husband has previously used to secure his catheter and leg bag. I will certainly be speaking to our GP to request some more!
The Ugo 2L Drainage Bags are very good. They have a large capacity for overnight drainage, there's no kinking in the tubes and they're easy to connect. They are very secure once connected and the non-return valve to prevent urine going back up the drainage tube is a very good idea. A lot of other products I have tried don't have this built in which can result in accidents.
The Ugo Fix Sleeve is the best I have come across! Other similar products I have used in the past are much more flimsy in comparison. The Ugo Fix Sleeve is very comfortable to wear, very supportive and holds the bag in place discreetly. It is even provided with it's very own laundry bag which ensures I can work a system where I wash one, while wearing one. Great product!
The Ugo Fix Catheter Strap made life more comfortable for my husband while he had a catheter. The previous straps he used cut into his leg whereas the Ugo Fix Catheter Strap was wider and longer, so we could easily cut to size, and we found the fastening efficient and secure. They washed well and dried quickly.
I use the Ugo Catheter Valve with my suprapubic catheter. It grips extremely well, and doesn't slip like some other valves which I have tried.
